The Full Story
 

Hi, I’m Emma — the heart behind Little Yawns Sleep Co, an internationally certified infant and toddler
sleep consultant… and mum to my three little loves: Lucy, Jack, and Ted 🤍
 

But before any of that — I’m just a mum who’s been there.
 

I live in that messy, beautiful, real-life world of snack crumbs on the floor, kinder drop-offs, toddler chaos,
and baby cuddles. My days are a mix of reheated coffees, getting everyone out the door (sometimes
on time), and soaking up those fleeting little moments that make it all worth it.

Before Little Yawns, I was a primary school teacher for over ten years — so supporting children (and the
grown-ups raising them) has always been part of who I am. I’ve always been drawn to helping kids feel safe,
confident, and understood… and that same passion naturally carried over into the world of sleep.
 

When I had Lucy, my first baby, I found myself deep in the overwhelm.
Endless advice. Conflicting opinions. Google spirals at 2am.
 

As someone who loves structure (hello, Type A), I thought I just needed the right answer — the perfect routine, the magic fix. But what I actually needed was someone to say,
“Hey… you’re not doing this wrong. Let’s figure out what works for your baby.”
 

One calm, supportive conversation with a sleep consultant changed everything for me. Not because it gave me a rigid plan — but because it gave me clarity, confidence, and a way forward that actually felt good.
 

That moment stayed with me. And eventually… it became this.

 

Why Little Yawns Is Different
 

Little Yawns Sleep Co was built on a simple belief:
There is no one “right” way to do sleep.
 

Because babies aren’t robots. And neither are parents.
 

What makes me different from a lot of sleep consultants is this — I don’t believe in rigid rules, one-size-fits-all routines, or pushing families into approaches that don’t sit right with them.

  • My background in education and child development

  • And the very real, very honest experience of raising three completely different little humans
     

Because trust me — what worked for one of my kids did not work for the others.

Lucy, my thoughtful and creative big girl, keeps me grounded and constantly reminds me how quickly time flies.
Jack brings the energy (and the chaos!) — our days are louder, busier, and a lot more fun because of him.
And Ted, now 7 months old, has me right back in that baby stage — navigating naps, feeding, and all the little sleep curveballs in real time alongside you.
 

Every stage of motherhood has shaped how I support families.

The exhaustion.
The trial and error.
The small wins that feel huge.
The nights that feel endless… and the mornings that somehow come too quickly.
